Tweeting, blogging, surfing, pinning, posting, mailing, drowning

I have this urge as I follow the Live Twitter feed to type “STOP”. Perhaps I need to walk away from the computer at that point. How can I put this? There is too much new information coming in from too many directions. And it doesn’t help, it is not helpful, it is the opposite of help to give more places to read, view, or synthesize. I feel like I have become a bookmarking monster, and constantly tell myself that at some appointed time in the future I will go back and read all of these bookmarked blogs, articles, sites. But, let’s get real. In the future there will be more suggested sites to view, more blogs to read, more articles to consider. There are people out there right now, writing them. How does one manage the onslaught of resources?
